Rt Hon Christopher Luxon Prime Minister Visit

November 1st, 2024 Look who came to visit our head office and main distribution centre this morning!! We had the pleasure of showing the Rt Hon Christopher Luxon, Prime Minister around our ISO 14001 and ISO 14064-1 Toitū carbon reduce certified facility and chatting to him about our work with the electricity infrastructure industry here in NZ and across the South Pacific. He was interested to learn about our extensive R&D work and we even got him 'on the tools' whilst showing him the new ECOPillar that we, in conjunction with Orion NZ Ltd and Connetics, designed, tested and put into production recently. We talked him through our 150kW solar farm and micro grid along with our EV charging network; all projects we've undertaken ourselves to ensure we can offer our customers the best possible advice and support when we assist them with their own. With our site shut down during the visit, we were able to take the Prime Minister through the entire facility to give him a better idea of how we service the electricity infrastructure industry through our extensive stock holdings, value add service, R&D, testing and delivery via our very own delivery fleet. It was a great visit and our team are appreciative of the Prime Minister choosing to spend the morning with us. |
