X-Rust vapour capsules provide easy to use corrosion protection inside any type of enclosure. X-Rust vapour capsules are self-contained and easy to install in seconds. Uses an environmentally friendly vapor corrosion inhibitor (VCI) with no nitrites or amines. Manufactured in Australia.
The X-Rust vapour capsule will arrive packed in plastic. The vapour capsule is activated once the plastic pack is opened. Peel off the adhesive backing and affix to almost any surface inside of an enclosure. Record date of installation on the label, lifetime is either one or two years. As VCI is heavier than air the vapour capsule should be placed as close to the top of the cabinet. Alternative placings are also OK such as in the centre or on the side or bottom of the cabinet. For cabinets over one cubic metre in volume use two (or more) of the XR2 vapour capsules.
APPLICATIONS
X-Rust vapour capsules can be used in any electrical or electronic enclosure. They work best in enclosures that are air sealed but can be used in enclosures with natural ventilation (not fan forced). Typical applications include:
