Quickly and conveniently insulates, seals and protects Mini Wedge connections up to 600V. Can be used both overhead and for direct bury applications underground. In either case it’s as simple as snapping the enclosure closed over the connection. The locating tabs ensure the connection remains in the right location if the enclosure is snagged. Commonly referred to as a "snot box" because of the consistency of the hydrophobic Raychem PowerGel it houses, this unit offers a completely sealed enclosure that can be easily re-entered if necessary.
One size cover fits Miniwedge connectors for applications from 16mm
2 to 95mm
2 with Cu/Cu, Cu/Al or Al/Al combinations. Having one product to cover all these application ranges means less inventory and less chance of being caught without the right product.
